This is the fourth episode of my serie “wearing denim” where I try to explore current trends in denim. This time I wanted to show you my denim slim overalls that made my spring and my summer (and which should make my fall too). I wear them here with my beloved Saint-James marinière.
I wanted to show that wearing overalls does not necessarily mean to look like Mario Bros. And for once, I like these a lot as they lengthen silhouette. I’m pretty sure that this cut is more flattering to many of us than most skinny jeans that easily cut the leg because they fall short on the ankle and low onthe hips. Real silhouette killers I am telling you! Besides I never wear some because it’s downright ugly on me.
So, back to these denim slim overalls now: I find overalls really cool. So you can wear them on the cool way, but you can also twist them with high heels and so have a totally different style. Moreover, they are great with stilettos. Here I prefered the comfort of wedge sandals as we made the shooting in the old town of Lyons (for those who don’t know: streets are paved!!!)
So, would you trust denim slim overalls? Or will you stick to their baggy cousin?
