Hélène: needlewoman at Maison Lejaby

Your training and CV: Ive been working for 35 years as a qualified needlewoman. I started at 16, worked several years for Lise Charmel and then I was hired by Lejaby. From 1995 to 2005, I was in charge with quality control, and since 2006 I’ve been sewing again.

Now I am also in charge with selling at the Lejaby outlet, because I like meeting our clients. Since Lejaby has been purchased by our current CEO Alain Prost, I’m in the luxury underwear Lejaby Couture team project.

How do you feel about the Lejaby Couture project? I firstly was surprised by the idea, but I decided to stay positive and optimistic. By the way I help young people in their training and I wish they could be more positive sometimes.

What are you proud of in your job? I’m proud to make luxury underwear and to be part of the project Lejaby Couture.

What does Made in France mean for you? It’s the best quality you can find. As I said, I was in charge with quality control so I intend to manufacture flawless products! We have golden hands and we manufacture nice products which make women and men dream.

Kokoriko +: Lejaby Couture luxury underwear will cost between 250 and 11000€
