Today on the blog, I wanted to show you the result of two French brands who designed a few 100% made in France men fashion items: yound parisian brand Le Slip Français and Norman historic brand Saint James.
I haven’t have the occasion to talk about le Slip Français on the blog so far, but I must say that I love the offbeat spirit of this brand which is good in communication. Le Slip Français has great ideas of chic collaborations: they are like small troublemakers among made in France brands.
As far as Saint James is concerned: I regularly say on the blog how much I love them! I love their high quality standards: they even have been the cause of my vocation as a fashion blogger!
In my opinion, Saint James only lacks of a little bit of fashion spirit. And it wouldn’t need much to succeed as quality is so excellent! So, I applauded their collaboration with Coach, and as I heard there would be one with le Slip Français, I thought “yessssss, here we are!”
So? I must say I’m a little bit disappointed as far as originality is concerned. The mariniere is common and quite basic, the bag is too classical. Good point however for the swimsuit and the espadrilles.
