Today on the blog, we customize our clothes: let’s pimp our pullover with made in France elbow pads! It happens to all of us to be tired of some clothes which aren’t used yet, or, we sometimes would like to twist a too classical shirt, or even hide a hole (perfect for kids!): what if we use a cool elbow pads?

I chose this Armor Lux pullover for kids which is very nice but classical and I wanted to inject a good dose of yellow! Here are the steps, believe me: it is very simple:

First you have to heat your iron (wthout steam) on cotton position. Then either you  judge yourself how to position the pad, or you measure and make a mark with an erasable pen or chalk. Then you place the elbow pad with the transparent film facing upwards.

You cover the pad with a piece of wax-paper and then iron it during around 15 seconds (I had to hold it longer), but it is better to check after 15 seconds.

Let it cool off and carefully remove the transparent film. If it doesn’t come off easily, don’t insist: just iron it during a few seconds again. You can wash your garment after 48 hours inside out at 30°C.

So, what do you think about it?! It reminds me of badges that my mother sewed to hide holes in my pants, but much prettier!
