Pliage bag: French Heritage
Pliage bag is handmade in France in the Segré manufacture, close to Angers.
A brilliant idea: inspired by japanese, origamis, Jean Cassegrain (Longchamp founder’s grandson), imagined a modern bag, without armouring, which you can use as a school bag, which you can easily put in your case, or use a sport bag, etc… and that the brand could produce in all shades.
Pliage bag: worldwide star
Can you imagine that 10 items of Longchamp Pliage per minute are sold through the world? It’s a pratical classical bag but still modern; it’s affordable, and it’s a luxury product you find on the street on very different people which is very rare! You may have one (or several?) at home? I am not gifted with fashion basics (we’ll talk about this later…) and so I don’t.
Anyway, I wanted to show you Sarah Morris’ work as I found colors wonderful.
